Project Description

This project was to create a mobile application that all attendees for conferences and training at company facilities could use to, access conference or training information, collaborate on assignments, share information and documenrs, chat/discuss, complete polls and learn about the training facility and location. Each attendee would if required be supplied with an iPad for the duration of their training. All communication outside seminars would be via mobile devices using the facilities secure wireless network.

Storyboard

In order to demonstrate how all the different technologies would integrate to provide an experience for the attendees a storyboard (user journeys) was created using prototype screenshots (Axure prototypes to simulate Sharepoint, Yammer and Salesforce). This not only described the proposed solution but also acted as training /education materials.

Results

A prototype application was designed that demonstrated key concepts and functionality of the proposed solution. This was delivered together with storyboards that described typical user journeys. The result was the client was able to make key decisions about the technical solutions many weeks ahead of any production code development.
